- Full time employees accrue between 10 to 20 vacation days per year depending on position.
- Additional vacation days may accrue after 5 years of service.

Holidays & Personal Days

- Total of 11 days per year.

Jury Duty
|
- Regular pay offset by juror pay.

Funeral Leave
|
- Maximum of 4 days for employee’s spouse, child, mother, father, sister, brother, grandparent, or grandchild.
- Maximum of 1 day for employee’s uncle, aunt, mother-in-law, or father-in-law.

Tuition Reimbursement
|
- Between $3000 to $6000 per fiscal year for full time employees depending on position.
- Amount is prorated for part time employees.
- Courses must be work-related.
- Employee must remain employed by FLTC for at least one year after the completion of the course(s).
- All courses must be pre-approved before enrollment.

Military Leave of Absence
|
- All employees are eligible
- No waiting period
- Reinstatement to same or similar position upon return from service
|
Family and Medical Leave (FMLA)
|
- Employees are eligible if they have worked for at least one year and for 1,250 hours over the previous 12 months.
- Maximum of 12 workweeks per 12-month period.
- Upon return from FMLA leave, most employees must be restored to their original or equivalent positions with equivalent pay, benefits, and other employment terms.
